ACCOMMODATION RULES HOTEL ĎUMBIER**

Accommodation

  1. The hotel is entitled to accommodate only a properly registered guest. For this purpose, the guest presents his/her ID card, passport or another valid identity card to a respective hotel employee immediately upon arrival. It is also possible to accommodate a guest who is a resident of the hotel.
  1. The hotel guest who is not a citizen of the Slovak Republic is obliged in terms of the Slovak law regarding the stay of the foreign citizens to a truthful and complete filling in a stay report form and submitting it at the hotel reception upon arrival.
  1. The hotel reception personnel can require the guest’s mobile phone number in order to be able to contact the guest outside his/her hotel room (e. g. in case of a late arrival from a walk, in case of things left and found in the hotel room, etc.), as well as the vehicle registration plate number in case the vehicle needs to be parked in a different place and the like.
  1. After entering the room, the guest should check the room’s furnishing and appliances and immediately report the deficiencies and faults to the receptionist. If the guest fails to do so, he/she will be made responsible for all the damages and charged. The guest will be charged a fine of 20 EUR for the loss of the room key.
  1. The hotel provides services to the hotel guests in the extent of the given standards of the hotel classification.
  1. The guest agrees that during his accommodation period the hotel staff is entitled to enter the guest’s room and perform its duties.
  1. Entering the hotel, the already registered guest is obliged to present his/her valid identification card during his stay.
  1. In special cases, the guest can be offered another accommodation than the one agreed in the reservation, if not substantially different from the confirmed booking.
  1. The hotel is obliged to accommodate the guest and keep the reservation until 6.00 pm, unless otherwise agreed in the booking.
  1. It is prohibited to keep money and valuables in the hotel room. There is a special hotel safe for this purpose. The hotel is responsible for the guest’s money and valuables kept in the hotel safe and taken against a confirmation receipt. This service is free of charge.
  1. To meet outside visitors there is a hotel café. A non-hotel guest can visit a hotel guest in his room only with the consent of the responsible hotel employee and after a registration in a book of visitors from 9.00 am till 8 pm.
  1. The hotel will provide medical assistance and eventually also the guest’s transfer to hospital in case the guest becomes ill or injured.
  1. The guest uses the room for an agreed period. If the accommodation time was not agreed in advance, the guest is obliged to check out not later than 10.00 am on the last day of his stay. If the guest fails to do so, extra fees might be charged for the following day by the hotel.
  1. The guest who checks in before 7.00 am is obliged to pay the charge for the previous night.
  1. The guest is not allowed to relocate any furnishings or to interfere with the mains or other installations in the hotel room or other hotel premises without the consent of the hotel management.
  1. When leaving the room, the guest is obliged to close the water taps, turn off the light, and lock the door, and to hand over the key at the reception desk.
  1. Due to safety reasons, it is not recommended to leave children under the age of ten unattended by adults both in the hotel room and in other hotel premises.
  1. The guests are not allowed to take sports equipment and other objects to the hotel room, if there is a special place for their storage.
  1. Dogs and other pets can only be accommodated if the owner proves their good health condition and with the consent of the responsible hotel employee.
  1. The guest must not disturb and restrain other hotel guests and he/she must keep nighttime peace/silence in the period from 10.00 pm to 6.00 am.
  1. The guest is liable for damages to the property in accordance with the applicable legal regulations.
  1. The guest is obliged to pay for the accommodation and related services in accordance with the current price list upon check-out, the latest after a one-week stay.
  1. The price list for the accommodation, board and other services can be looked in at the front desk.
  1. Complaints, suggestions and requirements regarding the hotel’s services are welcomed by the hotel management.
  1. The guest is obliged to follow these accommodation rules. In case the guest breaks the rules, the hotel is entitled to withdraw from providing the agreed hotel service.

CANCELLATION POLICY

 

  1. The guest has the right to cancel his stay anytime but the cancellation policy will be applied. The order is regarded as cancelled on the day when the cancellation is received by the hotel either in a written or e-mail form to recepcia@hoteldumbier.sk. When canceling the order or in case the guest does not arrive, the guest is obliged to pay the relevant cancellation fee:

Cancellation fees:

  1. The cancellation of the booked services – accommodation

a)        In the case of the cancellation of the reservation:

–  1-5 days prior to arrival the cancellation fee is 100 % of the price of the ordered services or the price of the cancelled part of the ordered services, which is mentioned in the booking reservation

–  6 – 14 days prior to arrival the cancellation fee is 50 % of the price of the ordered services or the price of the cancelled part of the ordered services, this is mentioned in the booking reservation

b)        Without the cancellation fee, if the reservation is cancelled more than 14 days before the date of the first transaction.

  1. The cancellation of the group reservation (ordering 4 or more rooms):

a)      In the case of the cancellation of the group reservation:

–  1-14 days prior to arrival the cancel the cancellation fee is 100 % of the price of the ordered services or the price of the cancelled part of the ordered services, this is mentioned in the booking reservation

–  15-21 days prior to arrival the cancellation fee is 70 % of the price of the ordered services or the price of the cancelled part of the ordered services, which is mentioned in the booking reservation

–  22-30 days prior to arrival the cancellation fee is 50 % of the price of the ordered services or the price of the cancelled part of the ordered services, this is mentioned in the booking reservation

b)      There is no cancellation fee if the group reservation is canceled more than 30 days prior    to the arrival at the hotel.

  1. The cancellation fee will be deducted from the deposit or the sum paid for the stay. If the deposit or the paid sum for the stay is higher than the cancellation fee, the hotel returns the remaining sum to the guest. In case the guest has not paid for the reservation, he/she is obliged to pay the cancellation fee against an invoice.

 

 

SAFETY MEASURES

  1. In the hotel premises, there are emergency rules in case of a fire hung at a visible place. The guest, his visit or suite are obliged to follow them.
  1. The hotel is a non-smoking area. The guests are allowed to smoke in the hotel’s café.
  1. The hotel is equipped with fire extinguishers and hydrants, their misuse can be charged with a fine of 100 EUR.
  1. The guest is not allowed to use his/her own electrical appliances in the hotel room. This rule does not apply to personal hygiene appliances (shaver, hair dryer, etc.) and low voltage portable electronics (mobile phones, car navigation, mp3 players, tablets, laptops, etc.), which fulfill the valid norms; otherwise the guest is responsible for the damage which occurred by their use.
  1. The hotel is not responsible for a potential damage of the guest’s electrical appliances caused by the power fluctuation or power cut.
  1. When leaving the hotel room temporarily, the guest is required to close the water taps, windows and balcony doors, turn off the electrical appliances, lock the hotel room properly and hand over the key at the reception desk.
  1. The hotel is not liable for potential disagreements or conflicts among the hotel guests; however it takes necessary legal action to provide for the order in the hotel premises.
  1. When using the lift, the hotel guest, his visit or suite are obliged to keep the lift operation rules located in the cabin of the lift. The lift can be operated only by persons over the age of ten.
  1. For safety reasons, the guest is obliged to respect the “staff only” door signs, as well as not to put objects into openings for the hotel maintenance, otherwise he/she will be made responsible for the caused damage.
  1. In case a guest is injured, there is a first aid kit located at the reception desk.

Final provisions

  1. The guest, his visit or suite are obliged to follow the provisions of these accommodation rules, as well as the common moral and ethical rules usual in the territory of the Slovak Republic. In case of not following these rules, the hotel has the right to restrain from providing all its services even before the agreed period is over.
  1. These accommodation rules were approved by the hotel management and are valid from 1st August 2013 and available on www.hoteldumbier.sk or at the reception desk.
